Mercury are the largest producer of outboard motors in the world with manufacturing facilities in the U.S.A., China and Japan.

An extensive range of four-stroke and two-stroke outboards are available in the Asian market.

Swift is fully facilitated to supply and support Mercury outboards and we have our own Mercury SPX computer diagnostic systems that enable us to link to the motor’s ECU and analyze any problem.

Increasingly, contemporary outboard motors are incorporating electronics in their control systems in order to maximize efficiency and reduce fuel consumption and most importantly to reduce emissions.

Swift can supply, rig, and commission Mercury outboard motors on any craft and as an example we have supplied and commissioned a quadruple 300hp Verado installation on a new passenger ferry running from Langkawi to Koh Lipe, Thailand. 4-STROKE MOTORS

VERADO

This range is the “top of the line” and the most sophisticated outboard motors in production. All the motors are supercharged for optimum efficiency and with a special mounting system are ultra-quiet in operation. They feature “fly by wire” digital throttle and shift (DTS), electro-hydraulic power steering and Smart Craft instrumentation. Verados are in operation with Departments of the Malaysian Government.
 

STANDARD 4-STROKE MOTORS

For operators seeking economy, low emissions and quietness Mercury 4-strokes are the right choice.
 

For fishermen requiring a very economical and
low emissions 4-stroke motor the 4-cylinder
Mercury 60hp “Bigfoot” is a good choice.
The motor features a heavy duty lower unit and
is available with a tiller handle and is the new generation that replaces polluting 60hp 2-strokes

2-STROKE MOTORS

Although they are gradually being phased out due to emissions regulations 2-stroke outboards still provide a good choice for the cost conscious operator. Mercury manufactures a vast range of 2-stroke motors which have been developed to give the best possible economy.

This “top of the line” Mercury 2-stroke range is recognized as the market leader with fuel injection direct into the cylinders to give a lean burn and lower emissions and unparalleled fuel consumption for a 2-stroke.

tiller handle is still available.
